Kennedale is entering into a new chapter of its history with the creation of the Keep Kennedale Beautiful
Commission. The commission is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) and thus en joys the benefits of being a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. The Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission is a city appointed board and is dedicated to beautifying and improving Kennedale through beautification, programming and education addressing litter prevention, and waste reduction. Our newly appointed board is composed of Suzanne Greer, Michael Smith – others…. - An early charge of the commission will be to work with a UTA landscaping class to develop a landscaping plan for Kennedale Parkway. They will also be involved in identifying and selecting plant for the landscaped medians on the newly constructed Little-School and Sublet Road medians. In addition to participating in KTB programs, we can expect the commission to organize their own local events and programs based on the specific needs of Kennedale. They will recruit volunteers to aid in efforts that include students, youth groups, garden clubs, and service organizations, to name a few. I hope to see you involved in making Kennedale a great place to call home.
